Helen Dang is a first-generation Vietnamese-American artist based in Santa Cruz, California. She received her B.S. in Bioengineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz. While at university, she became interested in working at the intersection of art, science, and communication. During 2019-20, Helen took a sabbatical and dedicated her time to exploration. This time led her to over 30 countries, and upon returning to the US in 2020, she furthered her development as a ceramic artist and watercolor painter.
Today, Helen works as the Science Program Manager for Stanford Bioengineering, and in her spare time, you can find her around the San Francisco Bay Area watercolor painting en plein air.
